I know it is very early in the season but I want to see If you think so far in 2017 If Ludlow has improved or are we being fooled?

 

I myself am a stat guy. Ludlow was 3-8 in 2016. They very well could of been 7-4. They lost 4 of those winnable games by a total of 16 points. Those losses average out to be 4 points in each game.

 

Through the first two games in 2016 the offense put up a total of 523 yards and 9 touchdowns. Now in 2017 the offense in two games has put up 917 yards and 12 touchdowns. After the first two games in 2016 the Ludlow team was 1-1 with a 4 point loss to Paris. Now in 2017 they are 2-0 after beating Carrol County and then #10 Bracken County by 3 points. This team also only lost four seniors last year.

 

So what's your opinions?

Very dependent on one player right now which is always dangerous. 372 of 407 rushing yards and 317 of 355 passing yards is outstanding production but you have to think it would help to become less dependent on one player who is also one of the top tacklers on defense. But you do what you can to win games in 1A. Of course there is that giant roadblock in the District so......

Blackburn is a super 1A player. Hard nosed, 100% effort on every play. Saw Ludlow play twice last year and once this year, so my sample is small. But, imo, there is a superior energy level there this year over last. At this early part of the season, I see the potential for good things this year. Candidly, Blackburn throws a better ball than I expected and his low completion % should improve as his receivers improve. Keep the horse healthy! Tough in a small school when your QB also is starting LB and leading tackler As well as your punter. Lots of plays and chances for injury.

Sound like one heck of a player. You reckon he sells popcorn at halftime!!! Sounds like he a special player and has a bright future if he wants to continue it.
