Heard that the KHSAA visited the new Frederick Douglas field this week with the possibility of hosting the state semis and finals for the boys and girls soccer this year. Interesting would be a short trip for the KHSAA since the field is just across the street from their office.

State's already been in Lexington (at various high schools) for the past few seasons.

 

If Douglass has the newest turf and the best stadium with sufficient parking, I doubt anyone will be against it.

Thats the plan, although I already thought it was a done deal. Its a sweet facility, thats why we rented it out of MSFB state semi finals.
