Down 7-1 going into the 6th, Knox Central scores 6 runs to tie it. In the bottom of the 6th, Marion County tallies one of their own to retake the lead.

This Marion County team continues to impress. They looked great early, ran out of pitchers and gave up the big lead. It takes a mentally tough team to weather a comeback like that and still win. They may have found their 3rd pitcher today. A freshman came in and did pretty well to close out the game.

Someone in the 5th Region told me to watch out for Marion County this year and I blew them off quickly and easily.

I admit when I made a mistake and every time Marion wins in the postseason, I look more foolish for jumping the gun on them.
