Former Bell Co. coach Lewis Morris accepted the head job at Middlesboro.

 

"You want to go where you're wanted, you want to go where people are wanting to see things change. I think it's going to be a good situation."

He's got a lot of rebuilding to do with that program. They've had a good basketball tradition over the years but the last few have not been good for them.

Coach Morris has a lot of work to do but I think he's the right guy at the right time.

 

Isaac Wilson got the program moving in the right direction and I think Coach Morris will continue to build on that.

Morris is one of the best coaches in the region, so this is a very good hire by Middlesboro. I thought that he wanted to get out of coaching so that he would have more time to watch his daughter, kind of appears that he just didn't want any more to do with coaching at Bell under the current regime.

I agree. He will make Middlesboro better. Morris knows his craft. Outstanding hire by the Jackets.
