Details?

Yea, I was curious as to the details of this game also. Like who won and what was the score? Anyone out there that attended?

Score ended up 42 or so to 3. Closer than that though. BW dominated the 1st quarter on both sides of the ball but only could manage a 25 yd FG. Second Q HHS woke up and drove to the BW 25 before sputtering out. BW dropped back to pass and Paco Laber blitzed the QB who fumbled and Blake Newman (who else?) scooped it up and rumbled in for the score. The goofy extra point alignment worked for a Newman to Jake Turner 2 pointer. And the Birds led at half 8-3. Second half was all HHS. The defense continually pressured BW into TO's especially after BW QB, #3, went down and didn't return (knee?). A really small QB replaced him and the BW attack became VERY 1 dimensional. Another Laber sack for a TD. Some very nice runs by Crawford (aka lil' Kremer), O. Head, and Josh Conner look-a-like Travis Alford (Frosh) along with some pitch and catch from Tony Guidugli to Mike Buten, a beautiful catch on a bomb to #84 and the route was on. Defense was excellent...Offensive line was superb at times...off a beat at others. Young Capal is rounding into shape after being on the shelf for most the season and had his hands full with the "Bus" clone BW played at nose guard! BW punter did a fine job but HHS returners were reluctant to catch the ball. This costs valuable field position. WORK ON THIS PLEEEEASE! With the bye week upon us, it was good to get these guys some PT.
