Collins 2017

Featured Replies

What does Collins need to do to improve in 2017? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

I will give what info I know about Collins. Don't have any updates after spring ball.

Collins will return JR Lucas at QB. In 16, he threw for 3,130 yards and 41 TD's and ran for over 700 yards.

Main returning skill player will be Nasean Roseberry. He ran for over 600 yards and had 51 receptions 733 yards and 10 tds.

Too improve, Collins must replace main 2 receivers in Maggard and Hawk.

On D, Collins will return key players in Nick Eades, Zach Stucker and Jacob Phillips.

Consistent play on D will key to success for them.

This group of Sr's that Collins will put on the field has had a lot of success and playing time. I think they will be in contention for a region championship and top 10 ranking.

The schedule will feature several good opponents and they play in the strongest 4A district where every game is a playoff game.

Aug 19, 17 Madison Southern at Madison Central 5:30 PM Roy Kidd Bowl

Aug 25, 17 Moore home 7:30 PM

Sep 1, 17 Ballard away 7:00 PM

Sep 8, 17 Oldham County away 7:30 PM

Sep 15, 17 Boyle County home 7:30 PM

Sep 22, 17 Spencer County away 7:30 PM

Sep 29, 17 Franklin County home 7:30 PM

Oct 13, 17 North Oldham home 7:30 PM

Oct 20, 17 Shelby County away 7:30 PM

Oct 27, 17 Pulaski County home 7:30 PM

Like I said, about all I know for now but I would say put them in preseason 4A top 5.

To improve

J.R. Lucas has had some impressive numbers.

Who might be looking at him, as far as college ball goes?
