Runcible Owl
Recent Louisville duPont Manual grad Yared Nuguse, will compete in Friday's Adidas Dream Mile finals. The race annually draws 12 of the nation's best distance runners. Three entrants are poised to break the 4 minute barrier, having run sub 4:01. Yared is ranked #5 US in the mile this year. The former Maroon ran the all-time Kentucky record mile in 4:06.30, earlier this month at the Kentucky Dream Mile race in Louisville. Nuguse also swept all three individual distance events, and anchored Manual's winning 4x800 meter relay at this year's KHSAA 3A State Championship Meet. Good luck Yared!
