Cooper gets their first ever baseball district win and advance to the region! About to play Conner for the district championship!

 

Reid for Cooper threw a no-hitter in this one! Dominant performance. Cooper manufactured 3 hits but 1 was a huge RBI single by Walters in the top of the 7th after a walk and hit batter put runners on 1st and 2nd. A solid outing by the Ryle pitcher as well but I don't know his name

It was Spiritoso for Ryle...no doubt the most solid, consistent pitcher for a not so good team this year. On 3 different occasions this year he gave up 3 or less hits only to lose all 3 games because no offense could be mustered for him. Very good pitcher...probably his last game of baseball unfortunately.
