May 23, 20188 yr Author Just got back from another trip to Disney earlier this week and it honestly just gets better every time I go. It rained basically every day we were there but it was still a blast. I’m a huge food guy and this trip we ate at: Tutto Italia, Rose and Crown, Mama Melrose’s, San Angel Inn, Tusker House, Via Napoli, Be Our Guest, Le Cellier, and Yak and Yeti. I really can’t talk enough about how amazing Le Cellier and Be Our Guest are and Via Napoli is about as authentic Italian pizza gets outside of Italy. This was my first time seeing the new fireworks show at MK and it was one of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen. I didnt even watch the fireworks because I was so amazed by what was being projected onto the castle. The new Flights of Passage ride is an absolute must do at Disney though. If you can get a fastpass for it you need to because the wait is 90+ minutes at all times of the day, but even then it’s worth it. If you can’t get a fastpass I would suggest getting to AK at least 45 minutes before the park opens if you want to be some of the first people to ride it that day. We went to AK on Wednesday morning and virtually everyone at the park went straight to Flights of Passage and it was a 120 minute wait 5 minutes after the park opened. Honestly if you aren’t one of the first people in line I would go to Expeditions Everest first which is what we did. We walked on 5 times in a row with literally no wait. One of the other things I checked out this trip was JellyRolls at the Boardwalk which was really cool. Basically it’s a dueling piano bar and it’s a really cool and fun atmosphere that I could have spent all night at if they let me. It’s a $15 cover and it’s disney so the drinks are expensive once you get in, but damn it’s a blast. If you happen to be staying at the Epcot Resort area (BoardWalk, Yacht and Beach, or Swan and Dolphin) I would definitely suggest going one night.
