In short the player has to be in the top 22% of the players that have between 2-3 years of service time. They reach arbitration a year earlier than the others.

 

What is the significance of the Super Two date UKMF mentioned above? Does the 22% only apply to players in the majors on the Super Two date?

Basically the amount of service days changes each year, but in the last 10 years or so, a player brought up after the 20th of May has never qualified for Super Two status is the way I understand it.
