Who would want or be available to take this job? If they're not bringing in players from other places, is there reliable talent there? Although, I guess you could say that about most schools.

 

I am not sure the question is if there is reliable talent there at Doss. They have been in the last three years in the sweet 16, state runner-up, and regional runner up against a great Fern Creek team. They also only lost 2 seniors. I also know that there is a stack of resumes on the AD's desk. Tony did a great job at Doss, but he did not leave the cupboard bare. Whoever gets this job will be getting a program in great condition. There is plenty of talent in that building and more coming in every year.

Agreed, he did a fantastic job his three years, remember the program was awful about 08-13 ... just an estimate on those years but that vicinity. After Jeff brooks left they went off the map.

Not sure that's completely true. KC Goodin had the program on the upswing before leaving to go back to coaching in college. Doss was 22-8 and lost to eventual 6th region champ PRP in the semi finals 64-63. He came into a program with talent.
