Should be a really good game Monday night. John Hardin with 2 all region players in Mickey Pearson and Devonta Guillory, along with talented Anthony Witherspoon. Adair with 3 all region players Corey Melton, Chance Melton, and Kel Stotts, as well as Cameron Lasley the 20th district tournament MVP.

Should be a good game. I'm a big fan of the Lasley kid. Every team needs a do it all kind of guy and he fits the bill. What's the issue with the knee if you don't mind me asking. It appears that if not for the injury; we're probably talking about a next level performer....IMO

Experienced a partially torn ACL during AAU summer ball. He's finally back to being around 100 percent. He averaged 17 last year before Stotts came back so he's not had to score as much. Maybe best overall player on team though.

Pearson reminds me of a former region player for Adair County. 6-7 Darren Ballou who was on the 2007 and 2009 region champion teams. Pearson is more athletic though.

Sorry to hear that about Lashley. I remember last year we couldn't deal with him down at your place. Mickey has been about as steady as they come this year, kid has so much potential...once he understands the importance of weight training and developing his body; the sky is the limit for him. The barometer for this team is and will always be Guillory. If he's engaged; they do well...if he gets worn down the team suffers...he is the straw that stirs the drink for the Dogs

Pearson is a STUD!!! Witherspoon has come on over the last 3 weeks.. if Guillory is scoring-- I think they beat Adair. If not then it will be Adair. John will need a third scorer plus some points from the others.
