I saw something that said LCA took 29 threes. I guess that's the effect of having a man like Cozart in the paint, but either way, 29 three pt attempts isn't usually a recipe for winning basketball.

The 3 ball is a big part of their game I think, was last night and it was when we played them in December. Centrals game plan was to make it tough on the best 3 point shooters and make Rode take the shots from 15 feet and out. It worked pretty well but our pressure "D" in the 2nd half is what changed the game. Your right, it is fun to watch Cozart change the dynamics of another teams offense. I think we rebounded much better this game then the first time we played when LCA won by 12 we were probably out rebounded 3-1 it seemed.

Scott Co will be a different animal, but Central is playing MUCH better ball then when they met in early January. Just hope they show up focused and ready to play. If they do, I think they can make it a game.

LCA had 9 point lead and the ball with about 6:30 to play and tried to stall. 3 straight possessions with a turnover and Madison Central hit a 3 and some other big shots and it was back to being a game.

Was defiantly the turning point of the game, I had almost resigned to losing because LCA came out in the 2nd half so strong. The "D" turned it up, but more importantly they capitalized on the turnovers.

I had the opportunity to see MC and Cozart play last month and was thoroughly impressed by his defense and shot blocking - he can definitely change the game. His shot still needs some development but he has plenty of time to work on it. Looking forward to seeing him play more over the next couple of years.

Congrats to MC!
