Bracken trailed at half in this one 29-27. Couldn't hit free throws, Ben Swolsky running wild for the Saints. Brady Jones came to play and kept the Polar Bears in it; played like a man.

Different story in the third quarter. Crawford switched from guarding 5'6" Bauer to Swolsky. Rebounding and second-chance points made all the difference in the world.

Jones with 19, Engnes 18 and Crawford 14 for Bracken. Swolsky with 23 and 14 for St. Patrick.

Was a tale of two halves. St. Pat had a good game plan and executed it in the first half. Got them a 29-27 lead at halftime.

The second half primarily the 3rd qtr was a different story. Bracken came out and forced the tempo and ratcheted down on defense created turnovers and out scored St. Pat 24-9 in the third qtr.

Brady "double double" Jones kept Bracken in it in the first half and was the main cog in the second half. Glad to get outta there with the win and can focus on Mason Co Thursday night.

Danny Weddle article. St. Pat played well in 1st half. 3rd quarter did them in.
