They better go against that HHS historical trend and play those athletes both ways if they want to compete this year. To say the pressure is on for that coaching staff would be an understatement IMO.

 

Couldn't agree more with this... I understand most can go one way, but the truly gifted can't spend half of the game on the bench watching. A talent like Cooper needs to be on the field. I can't imagine guys like Derek Smith, Mike Mitchell, Austin Collinsworth, going one way. Not comparing cooper to these guys, but just saying elite talent needs to play. Even if it's just in a few packages, they need to be making an impact on both sides.

Chisholm is clearly the top returning back. He is very impressive.

 

Beechwood's James Davis is the up and coming back to keep an eye on. He has improved tremendously each year at Beechwood. If he improves at the same rate this off season into next year, he will be right there in consideration as one of the top backs in N. Ky.
