Tates Creek Girl's Coach is done at season's end. Who would be good for this one?

This is a job that is under the radar. Lots of good young talent.

Other then this being a large school, what makes tates creek a "good" job? They haven't been very good in several years.

Like I said the talent is high. There needs to be culture change of course but that is the new coaches job. The right coach and they are winners easy. The freshman and JV teams have winning records. As a new coach, you want young talent to mold. And its a good time to enter this district and region because there are no dominate programs.

Girls basketball in Lexington is at an all time low....at least as far back as I can remember. There should be at least a couple of "ranked" teams every year. One has to wonder if the feeder programs in Lexington are lagging WAY behind the rest of the state.

And I wouldn't say the talent is "high." It's great that the freshman and JV squads having winning records...but really talented freshman and sophmores would be having success at the varsity level...especially considering the level of teams tates creek has been playing.

Why do we know the coach is gone? Have the resigned? Not saying this is not true, but the season is still going on right.

And I agree with Magicfan217, Lexington needs a face lift.

Point well taken about varsity success with young players but the coach won't play but one or two just limited minutes. Not sure why. Maybe high potential is what I should have said. No doubt Lexington is way behind at the feeder level because they only have an abbreviated season of 10 games. Probably won't change though, been like that for decades. Tates Creek has good 7th and 8th graders playing freshman, JV and limited play varsity.

The coach has already told the team.
