Should be an interesting year for Walton. I hear it will be quite the battle for the QB position. The winner should be able to balance their run dominant attack, and the loser should be able to contribute at another position.

 

I was very impressed with the defense last year, especially their progression throughout the season. Walton returns most defensive starters, though LB Ruber will be tough to replace. A lot of sophomores on the field last year that should be much improved.

 

If the Bearcats can harness the way they finished against a very good Holy Cross team, it could be a landmark season. With the program entering its tenth season, the question remains whether Walton can emerge as a major contender?
