Apollo 63 Owensboro Catholic 58

Apollo continues to impress. They jumped out to an 11-0 lead and never looked back. Catholic was down by 17 with a little over 2 minutes left and made a furious comeback but Apollo was able to hold off the rally at the free throw line. Hopewell had 21 & Boyle finished with 15, all coming in the second half, including 4 3 pointers. Apollo got a boost from point guard Tabor Shadowen who knocked down 3 3 pointers in the first quarter and really changed how Tim Riley wanted to defend them.

The Eagles move to 4-1 in district and could potentially play Catholic for a 4th time in the first round of District. The 9th District tournament is going to be wild.
