Looks like Nicholas was able to withstand the certain beat down they were supposed to recieve from the unrelenting Polar Bears. Here's to hoping the Greyhounds don't cower in the corner when Polar Bears come calling Saturday night:)

I was right in that Nicholas wasn't enough for Crawford and company. I was very impressed with the defensive tenacity that Hinson and Elsbernd have these boys playing with. A level of toughness not seen in Brooksville in recent years.

Nicholas County is going to win the 38th. They play outstanding defense and have great guards. I'm telling you they're the real deal.

Anybody that plays an extremely well coached Bracken team within 5 should have no problem in the 38th.

Congrats to the Polar Bears! Was a hard played game by both teams, much closer than many on here predicted. Crawford hit some big contested shots and Bracken hit 3's.

I wouldn't consider 17 points a "beat-down". But 27 point loss to Campbell County, yeah.

Crawford hit some big contested shots and Bracken hit 3's.

 

He shot 13/16 (81.2%) from the field. He's starting to utilize his midrange game.

If Bracken's defense tightens up they are a different team.

Not a lot of difference between getting beat 17 or 27. Both very decisive.
