IMO West was the difference defensively. She pretty much locked down Kennedy, contesting most of her shots. Wtown's big Taylor went out of the game with an injury but the contest was pretty much decided by then.

 

The district game between GC & Walton-Verona in January now becomes very interesting. I know its premature to assume SK will be the top seed for the district. But if I'm right then GC & WV will slug it out for a trip to the 8th region tourney as the 2/3 seeds. GC is a tough matchup for WV because of their size. They get after you defensively. If they make good decisions and shoot like they did last night WV will have their hands full.

Coach West does a great job getting his teams prepared. Congrats on the W.
