End of 3

58-40 HHS.

Any other updates? Would have like to see the game tonight but decided to stay home in front of the fireplace

Who played well? Highlands can be a solid team this year and can threaten the 9th from what I have seen

How is Scott? I personally thought they would be better this year but seem to be struggling

I really thought Scott was going to threaten as well. They really struggle protecting the ball. They don't make great passing decisions and can be lazy with the ball at times.

They have some really nice players in Clephane, Stapleton and Seacrist. I could see them giving teams that aren't very good shooters trouble because they play a zone and extend it out and they are long. When they have a chance to get in to it, I could see it creating problems.

HHS shot well and pulled them out and they struggled to guard when that happened.

I still think Scott can make a run, but they have to learn to make better decisions with the ball.

HHS is up and down right now. They will need to develop their athletes and be more consistent if they want to win the 9th. Without both those things, I'm not sure this will be the year they get over the hump.

HHS set a blistering pace and a flurry of 3's to build a 20 point halftime lead and never looked back. Martin had about five threes in first half as Barth sat with fouls. Barth took hers in the second half and the rest added in as she and Martin easily finished with 20+. Celaphane got hers in the second but too little too late as Scott was never in this game. No answers defensively for HHS guards & ball movement. Birds played extremely well in this one, their backcourt is impressive, if they get good production from the others they are legit for region contention. Interested to see if their upcoming matchup with Conner next week clears up where everyone stacks up early in season.

Seeing Scott a couple of times now, they rely on Celaphane for a lot of scoring so they have to find other scoring. Secrist had productive game, Stapleton never got on track.....they need some others to step up.
