27-24.. Final score... dang Boone is now 0-3 but have faced some tough teams.. lost to scott county 31-26 last week.

I'm sorry to see that BC is having as dismal a start as my Colonels. I would have picked both squads to be better. It seems that with SK and Ryle playing well, and Conner getting a quality win tonight over Fern Creek, not to mention Holmes and CC, one of them may be an odd man out come playoff time. How wierd would that be? The night is still young though my Rebel friends, lucky for us, both squads start out fistorically like turtles.

Do you know how Cory Farris played tonight?

If so, he had well over 100 yards rushing.

 

Boone County tried to get too cute in the 2nd half. Boone led 21-12 in the 3rd, The Waves got a quick score. Boone had Meade's number running the sweep right. Rather than stay with it, the Boone OC got cute and went with a reverse and a fumble occured on the second exchange and Meade scored on the next possession with a deep corner route.

 

I was surprised at the amount of kids BC brought, at least 80 or so.

Yeah he is number 4... Not sure how many yards he had rushing tonight but i know last week he had 252 and 3 TD's..

Boy, whatever happened to the strong Boone Co teams? Where is Meade Co. ranked in Class 4A?

The Greenwaves are down this year. No real speed on defense or skill positions. They are well coached and hard nosed, but just don't have the horses this season to make a real run.

Another tough loss for Boone. This doesn't do anything for confidence heading in to districts.
