It's more about timing than anything. Hawkins and Willis type offers will likely only come when there is an extra scholarship hanging out there for the Cats. And if it happens, those kids have to be ok with limited roles.

 

Maybe Kentucky produces a legit Cal-caliber kid once per decade, and that's just maybe.

Could be someone out of the 2019 Class, But Cal doesn't look for his top Recruits in KY, The in-State recruiting is going to be the 4-Year guys who won't play much their first 2-3 seasons.

True statement because five star one and done kids are just not in the Bluegrass!!!!!

Unfortunately the big schools looking to win national championships do not recruit kids based on potential !!
