Basketball season for 2016/2017 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Mercer County? Remember, please be constructive.

Trevon Faulkner is the no doubt leader, in what I feel will be a building year for the Titans.

New coach and a ton of guys, several of which are seniors, will be seeing their first big minutes with the varsity. Gunnar Gillis is a scrappy, hard nosed wing that joins this team and should provide his share of hustle plays, along with some much needed scoring and rebounding.

Last years team was special, and no one expects this years group to have that level of success but, IMO, they could still be a top 5, 12th region team by seasons end. I will be there as often as possible supporting and cheering on this team! Maybe it's the homer in me, but I think they surprise a few teams and contend for, back to back region titles! Excited to see what these young men can put together!

GO TITANS!
