Which of the top 20 teams are still playing?

I'd say let's get through regionals and we'll have a better idea of who the best teams remaining with a shot. I'd still say the 7th region winner is the favorite.

That's fine. I wasn't really looking to get favorites, just wondering how teams had fared. Difficult path when multiple ranked teams are also same regions.

I'd say that both Ryle and CovCath are two of the top 10 teams remaining and whoever wins the 9th region I think has a chance to do some damage in the state tournament.

Except the winner will play mercer and then probably collegiate.

I think either team beats Mercer in the first round and then anything can happen vs the Region 7 winner. Trinity was favored last year and CCH, while winning only 2-1, was clearly the better team. Only a late Trinity goal got them on the board. Could happen again this year with either Ryle or CCH. I'm sure Mercer has a good team but both Ryle and CCH have played some good teams to prepare them for that.

Sir! Has said that mercer has quite a few LFC white players so I'm thinking there not an easy out and trinity was not an easy win so collegiate must be strong.

Collegiate is very good. Quite a few club players, sound defensively, play solid possession side to side through the midfield and two fast strikers. At least that was my opinion in the two matches I saw them play.

I didn't say it would be easy, just that it's possible. CCH and Ryle are very strong defensively and that goes a long way this time of year.

Mercer Co does have some players that play at LFC, also a few from Bluegrass, players from both Ryle and CCH have played against them in club ball. From my perspective, both of these teams have played against players, and teams, this year that are just as good as what Mercer Co will put on the field so I feel they will be well prepared come Tuesday.
