October 21, 20169 yr Just became available on Netflix. Remember hearing about it but that was it. My wife watched the other night. I followed suit today. As a raised Catholic that was also a server(alter boy), this sincerely and abruptly caught my attention. This movie gets right to the point. It was released in 2015, but takes place mostly in 2001 Boston, MA. As a Catholic that was around numerous priests I was riveted, and I'm sure there are many more like me. The fact that the city of Boston (and hundreds of others; Covington, and Louisville are mentioned) covered it up along with the Catholic Church is just so bizarre. But it's like my dad said, if he would've gone home and said father so and so did so and so, his parents would've smacked him in the back of the head for bad mouthing priest. Sorry if this has already been a thread
February 7, 20179 yr Finally got around to watching this movie last night and thought it was awesome. Very well done and very interesting. Spoiler Alert. Did not expect Michael Keaton's character to be the one that would have missed or not pursued it year earlier. Thought it would be his boss.
