One heck of a game. Perfect night for football. Mistakes on both sides of the ball. Kept you wondering until that last minute or so which way the game would go. My hat off to both teams.

Woodford County 21, East Jessamine 19: Sophomore wide receiver Shawne Lewis caught nearly everything thrown his way for host Woodford County (3-0), including a 74-yard TD pass in the third quarter that put the Yellowjackets ahead to stay.

 

Lewis finished with 208 yards on seven catches, two for touchdowns.

 

East Jessamine (2-1) cut the deficit to two in the fourth quarter on Ryan Hager's 1-yard TD run, but the Jaguars were stopped on their final two drives, never reaching the Woodford 40-yard line.
