Region 1 Rankings - Week Two

In the big school poll, Warren Central edges Bowling Green going into their game tomorrow night, which would seem to determine next week's #1 team. Christian County is the solid #3 team, and after that it really tightens up. The top 7 teams were consensus picks, Henderson County & East were in all but one, and Graves was absent from two. One other game this week features two top 10 teams, that being Paducah vs. Graves County.

 

In the small school poll the top three teams were all in contention for that #1, with Fort Campbell taking it by two points. There was a lot more variation all over in this poll. Trigg County was placed in the same spot the most, receiving five votes at #8. The top 6 schools and Hancock County were consensus picks. Lone Oak and Caldwell were in all but one, and Fulton County snuck in by virtue of one ballot placing them fifth. There are no games between top 10 teams this week.
