But that doesn't necessarily affect their rank. Belfry will likely keep Corbin from playing in a state championship game, but the Redhounds have been #2 all season. Russell could easily be the #3 team but just have a terrible bracket.

My comment you quoted has nothing to do with where Russell is ranked or should be ranked. I just stated a sad reality to Russell's season; when they play Belfry, their season will be over.
