Mayfield looks save this week, having the week off. But there is a huge matchup of teams just below them, #2 Christian Academy - Louisville takes on #3 DeSales. Who will be number two and number three next week? Could we see an upset with #5 Danville taking on #10 Somerset? Who will show they are better in NKY, #6 Newport Central Catholic or #8 Covington Holy Cross? Who is in danger of moving down next week? Who could prove they deserve to move up? What teams are waiting to prove they belong in the Top 10?

Trying to talk a friend into driving to Louisville for the Desales vs CAL game, would love to see this game!

You need to go. I'd say that game will tell you a lot.

I would tell you to come to the Raceland/OPEN game instead, but I can tell you from experience, it's a boring game. So, go to Louisville.

If you do, get there early. Parking is limited. Our tailgating crew is starting at 3:30. It's going to be a packed house.

Well, we're going to the UK vs Vanderbuilt game Saturday, so I'm all for going to Louisville for the Desales vs CAL game, then driving on up to Lexington. Would love to see both of these possible future opponents, that is IF we can get by OC, and that won't be an easy task, and that's assuming we get by king Rex and his court!

Now that the X-Trinity game is over, this game will become the focus of the city this week. It has become must-see football, even for people who have no ties to either team. Can't wait!
