WOW!!! Coach Clark has the Tigers roaring. Great win!

This was a really good team win for the Tigers. Went roaring out to a 24-0 lead and game was never really in doubt. Tigers got yet another outstanding performance from De'Ondre Boggs at both WR and DB, and continued solid performance from steady QB Santrel Farmer. But the tough man award goes to Tariq Armour, who showed he can run hard when called upon even when the other team knows you are trying to chew clock. Tariq may have only had, say, 65 yards rushing tonight, but they were hard-nosed chain-moving yards. The Tigers also got outstanding play out of WR Trajan Walls, who went up-the-ladder for an early TD catch over Jairus Brents, and capped his night by returning the game's final play for a 100 yd. interception return for a TD. It is very difficult to commit only 3 defenders to Boggs on one side of the field when Walls is on the other. You really need 4.

I will say this about Waggener - their Div. I players are as advertised. Larry Harper can flat out spin the rock, even when he is running for his life, and the touch he puts on the long ball is exceptional. Brents was not really a factor tonight, but he broke off one long run when he was trapped and every time he touched the ball everyone would murmur "uh oh" and hold their breath because he is so fast. And the DT #56 Taj Rice is the real deal, he was lighting Tigers up all night. Then they have Manny Harper and Taiwan Jackson who can also flat out fly. There were a bunch of thorobreds out on the field tonight, Bardstown just had a few more.

Special teams was also big tonight. Devin Boggs kicked two field goals and was very good keeping the kickoffs away from Brents and Harper and had two nice punts for field position, and Thomas Bowling continues to show why he is going to EKU for long-snapping, a major factor on the wet field tonight.

Great all around win and performance, team's first 6-0 start since 2007. Moore next week, and Central looms in 2.
