Centre 49 Chicago 27

Centre jumped out to an early lead and defeated the University of Chicago at Danville. Chicago had cut the lead to 15 in the 3rd quarter when freshman DB Cal Llewellyn (from irionically CAL) had a 41-yard pick 6 to settle things down. QB Devon Hayes, from Bowling Green High I believe, passed for over 400 yards. He has a D1-type arm. Centre is now 4-0 and will play Hendrix in Conway, Arkansas next Saturday.

I did not put the "r" in "Centre" in the heading. Will someone please do this? Thanks.

I read the thread title and thought "I knew the Bears were bad, but geez..."

Hendrix is defending SAA Champs and beat the Colonels last year. This one will likely decide who gets automatic bid to NCAA DIII playoffs.
