I'm actually a bit surprised by this one. I thought Casey would win by quite a bit more than 2. I would have gone towards something like a 21 point win.

I believe in 2002 or 2003 they did. Andy Stephens had a few nice seasons.

Casey County started off the 2002 season 5-0 before finishing the regular season 6-4. Casey County lost 7-49 to LaRue County in the first round of the playoffs.

They started 5-0 in 2002 but lost the 6th game to Corbin. According to the KHSAA scoreboard going back to 1998, they have the chance this week for their best start, if they can beat Bell County and go to 6-0.

 

Their best season appears to be the 8-4 record in 2010.
