Ha...great question. I guess they both decided they were happy to take the tie and move on to preparing for next week's games rather than making things up.

 

Henry Clay has a district game against Lafayette coming up this week, and Knox Central has Russell County, which is a district game for them as well.

I would say travel for Knox Central was also in consideration, most central Kentucky area schools didn't resume play until late into the night.

Without knowing for sure I am thinking weather delays and travel time

had a say in this decision.
