Colonels_Wear_Blue Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Per the KHSAA, both teams agreed to end the game at a tie.
Colonels_Wear_Blue Posted September 17, 2016 Author Posted September 17, 2016 What? Ha...great question. I guess they both decided they were happy to take the tie and move on to preparing for next week's games rather than making things up. Henry Clay has a district game against Lafayette coming up this week, and Knox Central has Russell County, which is a district game for them as well.
AreLinz Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 I would say travel for Knox Central was also in consideration, most central Kentucky area schools didn't resume play until late into the night.

Without knowing for sure I am thinking weather delays and travel time had a say in this decision.
