Basketball season for 2016/2017 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Holmes? Remember, please be constructive.

They will be really good. Lost a couple really nice players to graduation, but enough depth left to be the favorite in the ninth and make a post season run.

I agree that Holmes should be the favorite in the 9th with plenty of talent returning. For those in the 9th, we have been waiting for the "H" teams to roll up on Bluegrass with Holmes, Highlands and Holy Cross all in the conversation next year. :dancingpa

That being said, I don't see anything that puts the other two or anyone in the 9th ahead of Holmes .

Defending champs have a lot of talent and experience coming back.

 

Curious who their "bigs" will be, besides McClendon-Englemon and Keith (who are what, 5-8 and 5-7?).

 

I don't think Maurissa Brown got nearly enough credit for her game down on the blocks last year. I loved watching her play. And if Amori Gulley hadn't gotten hurt early in the season last year, the Bulldogs might well have slid into the finals against Butler. She was a force.
