Here is my opinion on top 10.

1. Franklin Simpson

2. Johnson Central

3. S. Warren

4. Collins

5. Wayne

6. Shelby Co.

7. John Hardin

8. Hopkinsville

9. Mercer

10. Spencer Co.

 

Don't think FS has proven enough to warrant that rank. Run the clock on a bad Portland team and a game but short handed and out manned Metcalfe County. The first half was pretty impressive against a really good Caldwell team but, as we all learned, one half does not make a game. Caldwell hasn't seemed to have it all figured out yet either.

 

That said, FS has the ingredients. The OLine is big and experienced, DLine is similar. The secondary seems to be coming along well. Two really explosive running backs, hard running FB. One thing that is improving by baby steps is the passing game.

 

All that sounds good but I do not see them ranked #1 right now. Every one of Coach Preston's teams have improved markedly as the season progressed. If this one follows suit....maybe then.
