gameplayedright Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 Walnut hills either has a good squad or Covcath had a bad night. Recoup and move on. Both, but a bad night more of a factor IMO. Not converting no less then three 1v1s with keeper and a large number of unforced turnovers will do in a lot of teams. I would add, what did we learn from this? to "recoup and move on."
footstomp Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 A loss isn't going to define a season, although I don't appreciate losing. Did they looked fatigued or disinterested because of who they were playing? They're going to take everyone's best shot this year considering the accolades they have received this year. Keep working and good luck!
groinpull Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 I'm more concerned about CCH offensively than anything. Their defense will be fine and I doubt many teams will put up a big number on them but they seem to be having an issue with scoring early on in the season other than the game vs. an overmatched Scott team.
justsayin Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 How did Ibrahaim Goumballe (Walnut Hills) look? He should be no stranger to CovCath/NoKy fans, as he's played on the top Kings/Hammers team for several years. 32 points (12 goals, 8 assists) in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference last year in only 13 games. Fantastic player.

groinpull Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 October according to their coach. Out for the season according to what his dad told me at the game.

Seems to be a theme up here this year. Outside of Cooper and NewCath, teams are really looking to find their mojo.
Yellow Card Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Seems to be a theme up here this year. Outside of Cooper and NewCath, teams are really looking to find their mojo. In High School soccer, mojo seems to come from scoring, I do not think that will be an issue with NCC or Cooper.
MentschTrachtGottLacht Posted August 27, 2016 Author Posted August 27, 2016 Out for the season according to what his dad told me at the game. They should get on the same page. Ha.
Yellow Card Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 They should get on the same page. Ha. I have teenage experience(X3), this I understand.
