Who are the AA teams that are surprising people

Featured Replies

I have been to several different scrimmages and games this year and Breathitt Co. has surprised me. This team has progressed a tremendous amount since last year. I believe the Quarterbacks name is Colby Fugate and he is much improved.

I think its a bit early in the season to describe any team as "surprising". However, by wk 4, I'm sure we'll have some contenders.

I think Sheldon Clark will surprise some people this year.

I honestly don't think that Sheldon Clark can "surprise" anyone..considering there their being ranked statewide and in the mountains.

As long as Hager is the HC..I doubt anyone overlooking the cardinals.

I would have to agree with you OJW, it is too early to fully know which teams are going to be good. But, I guess we could mention some teams to keep an eye out for.

IMO, Mercer Co is the one you better keep your eye on. They're getting a free pass this year....before stepping up to 5A in 2007...so I'll be interesting too see what develops.

Breathitt has been flying under the radar after last season. They impressed me in their season opener. I am looking for big things from them.
