Friday night is going to tell a lot about CAL. I know teams improve over the course of the season, but you have to have a base level to improve from. We'll get a good feeling for their ceiling after that one, b/c SK is probably the best team up here.

Two of CAL's best weapons were freshmen last year. As sophomores, I would look for them to step up in a big way - especially Wright. He is lights out. I agree with your top five, even the order. DeSales fits nicely into that #3 spot. They have a lot to replace, but man oh man are they bringing the speed and athleticism this year! They are young, but they could be very dangerous by the end of the season.

I believe that Somerset is being under valued, hopefully they can prove that Friday. Much improved defensively and much bigger/stronger up front. They also return 9 starters both ways.

I like Owensboro Catholic vs. Evansville Mater Dei. Should be a great test for Owensboro Catholic.
