DanvilleFan Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 The team returns almost all of last year's players/contributors, but will have to fill the role down low of Parris Bowman. They will be led by Alyvia Walker (Sr.) and Ivy Turner (So.). Danville upset Boyle County in the 45th District semis last year to make the region (they also took Lincoln County to the wire in the district title game) and showed improvement throughout the year under first year head coach Michael Menifee. Danville's biggest issue will be depth as they didn't have much of a bench last year and that cost them some games when their starters got into foul trouble. Making the region again will be the goal (as well as making a run at a district crown), but it's going to be tough for all of the girls teams in the 12th Region that aren't Mercer County.
