CBDV Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Black Lives Matter Founders Describe 'Paradigm Shift' In The Movement : Code Switch : NPR I honestly don't know how to take this - The interviewer makes sure we know this is after the two black men were shot police and the police were shot in Dallas. Are they talking about the moment in general or the shooting....not real clear. What does this moment mean- On describing this moment Alicia Garza: I would describe this moment for the movement as a real paradigm shift. It is a indicator of what is to come.
Voice of Reason Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 I read the link but did not listen to the full interview. What is written in the link seems clear to me that they think the moment in general - not the Dallas shooting - is a paradigm shift moment. She states that the Dallas shooting is tragic.
