Strong to severe storms look to fire up again this afternoon. The severe threat has been raised for parts of Kentucky from a marginal to a slight risk area. Heavy rain, damaging winds and hail look to be the main threats. Some could see scattered showers and thunderstorms during the early afternoon. The main threat for severe storms looks to be late afternoon into the early evening hours 3-5 pm EDT. The threat for tornadoes is low but I can't rule out a possible quick spin up of a tornado or two.

 

 

A severe weather watch maybe issued soon for parts of SCKY and WKY.

 

So if I drive I75 south thru the state at 5:00 ish, I'll get wet?
