Lots of numbers. Lot of stats.

 

Let's look at this link from 2012 and 2013 (vs 2007 in the link) from the DOJ.

 

It breaks down violent crimes by ethnicity. It also breaks out Hispanics from whites like many studies (and I'm assuming the linked one does) to give a better picture.

 

Whites were victims of violent crimes 4M times. 56% of the time the offender was also white (shouldn't be shocking). 13% of the time the offender was black.

 

Blacks were victims of violent crimes just under 1M times. 62% of the time the offender was black vs 10% of the time the offender was white.

 

You should see a pattern here. Crime victims are that of people of their race most of the time.

The DOJ link I had previously would dispute the contention.

 

Of the nearly 6.5M violent crimes overall in 2012 and 2013 43% were committed by whites and 22% were committed by blacks.

Shhhhhh. Someone might hear the truth. Can't have that. 3% of the population responsible for that much violent crime, yet it is never reported.

The facts don't matter. Seriously.

 

One group of Americans feel they are being targeted by the police. That is their perception. Whether it is true or not, that is their perception.

 

The only way to get them to look at the facts is with open, honest dialogue. The question in my mind is does BLM really want open, honest dialogue to help find solutions or do they just want to protest? Sadly, many of the protest turn into rioting and looting. If they really want to look for solutions, their leadership must publicly call for ZERO violence in their protests. Dr. King would be ashamed of the way many of the protests are carried out.
