What does Powell County need to do to improve in 2016? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Continue the positive movement under HC Brewer. 2015 was 1 of the best seasons in history and they lose a good group but have some key players returning. They play good football and will have a chance to win the district again. They host favorite Estill in a huge showdown.

I think Powell takes a step back, a minor step back, they lost a lot including key rusher, Issac Harrison. Powell lost 4 OL guys, 2 WR's, a TE. Not sure who was QBing for them last season, the roster on KHSAA shows 2 QB's and both are SO.

 

I think Estill will probably be about like last season, losing leading rusher Kordel Day, Dylan Spivey and Michael Abner will hurt. Austin Rose was a key player for Estill last season, losing him hurts. So I think Estill will be about the same as last season, give or take, could be better, could be a lot worse.
