Small pets in Ft. Wright & Ft. Mitchell area?

I little PSA here, today I saw a decent sized coyote in that little park area towards the top of Highland Pike next to the bend on top the hill. I've never seen a coyote in this area before.

I little PSA here, today I saw a decent sized coyote in that little park area towards the top of Highland Pike next to the bend on top the hill. I've never seen a coyote in this area before.

 

Few weeks or a month ago FW Police Chief sent out an email to citizens regarding coyotes roaming the area. There are also quite a few deer in the city as well so I would imagine they not only are preying on pets but also young deer.

 

Actually it was Memorial Day weekend when the alert was sent out.

I walk my dog and I take my grandkids to play up there on the playground often. I have never seen one when I was there and my dog would go nuts if he saw one. I will be on the lookout.
