May 24, 201610 yr Rhodes posted a lengthy letter explaining why he asked for a release. Seemed very dissatisfied with his character, wanting to wrestle as Cody & not Stardust. Also had some strong words for the main writers of both Raw & Smackdown.

May 24, 201610 yr Author I also agree that Creative wasted Stardust/Cody over at least the last 9 months, maybe more. Ever since Goldust got hurt Stardust has been wasted by creative. The only cool parts were the Arrow and Nevel storylines but they were brief and simple.
May 24, 201610 yr I also agree that Creative wasted Stardust/Cody over at least the last 9 months Agreed. I don't think he's Main Event caliber any longer, but fans responded to Stardust. And that's what you want IMO. Seems like they would throw him an occasional bone, but for the most part, he was Main Eventing Main Event & Superstars.

I am sure you remember when we were at Smackdown together and Creative put Stardust and the Ascension together for the first time about 10 feet from where we were sitting. The WWE didn't do anything with that partnership either.
