Wednesday Severe Weather Outlook

Featured Replies

I'm going to stay in Severe Weather Alert Mode until further notice. The severe weather outlook for Wednesday is not looking good at this time. Some parts of Kentucky may get a break early during the day But the severe weather threat will start earlier in the afternoon tomorrow. The peak time looks to be once again between 5-8pm EDT. I will update in the morning.

Wednesday morning update:

Most of Kentucky could see strong to severe storms this afternoon. Right now the main threats look to be damaging winds, hail. The tornado threat is real low but it is still there so I can't completely rule them out. I will update through out the day whenever possible.

Stay weather aware again today.

Here's a special report from yesterday:

The Storm Prediction Center has expanded the Slight Risk Area in Kentucky. It now reaches to about the I-75 corridor. Bowling Green, Louisville, Richmond, Lexington and points in between are now included. I will update later when I can.
