Beechwood wins it in the bottom of the 8th on a passed ball. Fieger started and went 6+, Slusher pitched the last two and picked up the win. Slusher also went 2-3 at the plate with a HR and a pair of RBIs.

Rowe, Stringer, Castleman and Soward all produce run scoring hits during the game.

Crazy as it sounds, the player of the game had to be courtesy/pinch runner Daniel Mescher. He scored three runs, including the game winner, and stole at least 4 bases.

Tigers advance to the championship game later this afternoon against the winner of Hazard vs Somerset.

Good Luck Tigers, 1 more!!!

Great post, trippled6610. Would have loved to see the game, but, Sunday and Mother's Day!!! The Lord would have forgiven me missing church; but, my wife of 48 years would not have been so understanding.

Way to go Tigers!

Courtesy runner can't play unless the pitcher/catcher gets on base so let's also gave that batter credit.

Daniel Mescher is a great kid. Sophomore and kicks for the football team too, right? Fast... and would run through a brick wall for his team.
