Ludlow wins a close one today at Meinken...

Dylan Vogt went the distance for the Panthers.

Very nice win by Ludlow the other night. Bellevue returned the favor and beat Ludlow 4 to 1 today. These are two evenly matched teams as Bellevue only scored 1 earned run today in the win. I look for both teams to make some noise in the district tournaments this year.

Agreed! It's been the little things that has hurt Ludlow in games. It seems like the majority of the players have taken turns making crucial errors in games throughout the year. Cant give teams runs, have to make all the routine plays and occasionally make a great one. Then hitting have to come up with base hits with running in scoring positions. Ludlow has shown signs of getting right, but now it's time to start getting consistent with it.

 

At the end of the day in high school baseball the regular season means very little. It's about playing your best by District tournament time. I just feel like come tournament time Ludlow will put it together and be playing their best by then.
