Just wondering if anybody knows how simon kenton has been doing?i know they are young and got to see them play boone county but have not heard anything since

Looks like they are 7 - 9 on the season and 2 - 0 in district play.

They seem to be young every year. Maybe having trouble developing the young talent as they grow then just field another young group and try again. Seems to be the cycle in recent memory

I think this team starts five (5) seventh graders. Is that accurate ?

Im told they start 3 on a regular basis Tegan Turpin,Haley Perry,Macy Krohman.Rest are 8th grade and up.occasionally start a 4th.very young team.

Considering there is not middle school softball or baseball for that matter in NKY, might as well get them in the system early.

True but need to develop the young players better. Every two or three years there is a new group full of Jr high girls playing for sk and the older girls who were brought up early as well quit so they don't have to babysit and watch the new crop of girls play. It's a never ending cycle until they develop this young talent to better and they have a solid impact till they graduate.

Joe you are right but that falls back on the coach doesnt it?He doesnt do very well developing players
